A Dark Star encore?!? Holy heck. I checked that one, and you weren't hallucinating ... not about the encore, anyway. Maybe that's common knowledge, but I had no idea they ever did it as an encore. Do you remember your reaction?

And the 9/3/77 Terrapin ... what a great show to be able to be at.

The Dark Star encore makes for an interesting listen, I'd say. It's not the greatest DS, but Phil makes a little announcement beforehand (I forget exactly what he says) and the crowd's reaction to the opening notes (especially on the AUD) is priceless.

Have had that show on tape for going on 25 years. I've probably listened to that line and the Dark Star a couple of hundred times in the ensuing years.
